Where You Are: Home > Advanced Search

Use this area to perform more advanced site searches. You can search for content in a variety of ways, including by:

  • Exact Phrase: (the default search method) e.g. unaided recall study
This will search for all content that contains this exact phrase. Use this method for very specific searches. It produces the most accurate results but also the fewest matches.
  • All of the Following Keywords: e.g. cable broadcast erosion
This will search for all content that contains all of these words. Use this method for broader, less specific searches. It produces less accurate results but will yield more matches.
  • Any of the Following Keywords: e.g. local cable systems
This will search for all content that contains any of these words. Use this method for very broad searches. It produces very inaccurate results and the largest number of matches.

Since all site content is dated, you can also further refine and narrow your search results by selecting a specific data range. e.g. selecting only those items published within the last week or month, etc.

NOTE: The date option works best with exact phrase searches and all search returns are currently limited to a maximum of 199 matches.

SEARCH OPTIONS:

Search for items that contain and were published on this site.

NOTE: This search doesn't search items pertaining to individual national cable or regional cable networks, cable solutions vendors or cable systems. Rather, each of these has its own specialized search tool.
