When Do People Watch TV? (HUT % Levels By Daypart By Month For Key Targets)

When Do People Watch TV? Is it Fall, Spring, Summer, or Fall?

Typically winter months experience higher TV viewing levels given the weather outside while summer tends to demonstrate a slight viewership decline due to warm weather keeping people outside and away from TV.

Kids and Teens Daytime and Late Night viewership grows dramatically in the summer while school is out whereas Young Adults A18-24 are out enjoying their long summer nights as Late Night viewership decreases during July and August.

The file below contains information on the HUT% levels across various demographics for Total Day, Primetime, Early Morning, Daytime, and Late Night.
